Denon Scores a "Clean Sweep"
Denon's AVR-8500H Flagship AV Receiver was awarded this year's EISA Award for Best in Class performance. This award is in addition to other industry awards and recoginition by CEDIA, CEPro and CES. This truly represents some pretty "Tall Cotton" and certainly rareified territory. Among its features are:
- 13.2 Channels with 13 X 150 Watts/CH...enough to run even the most sophisticated Home Theater System.
- It is the first and only 13.2 unit on the market, presently
- Support for UHD 4K with HDCP 2.2 on every HDMI Input
- Dolby Vision & HDR compliant (High Dynamic range)
- Support for ARC-Audio Return Channel
- AirPlay II, Bluetooth and Ethernet compliant
- Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, IMAX Enhanced Audio Codecs
- Award Winning HEOS Multi-Room capability for Streaming Music Services
- Multi-Source & Multi-Zone Compliant
- Twin Discrete Video Zones
- Totally Configurable Amplifier engine that can be configured for Zones 2 & 3 and Dolby Atmos Height Speakers
- Audyssey Platinum Room Correction Software
- Free Control Apps available, via download, for either IOS or Android
- Crestron Connect Compliant, IR, RS232 & IP Control Enabled
- Heavy and Purposeful Construction.
There is not much more to say other than this is a beast of an AVR. It weighs in at over 55lbs. I can personally attest to its mettle as I have the unit driving my own Home Theater System with Bi-Wired Front Loudspeakers, Dolby Atmos Height Speakers and also driving audio Zones 2 & 3. No other presently available product can match the AVR-8500's stellar performance and system capabilities from a single AVR Chassis.
These unique features are manifest and Denon richly deserves all of these awards.
Bravo!
