KEF is a well-known British company that designs, engineers and manufactures world-class loudspeakers. KEF was founded by Raymond Cooke, a former BBC engineer, in 1961 and is still making fantastic products to this very day as indicated by their most recent EISA Awards for 2019-2020. KEF is a Tier 1 manufacturer, which simply means that they manufacture everything in-house form the speaker drivers to the speaker enclosures. There aren't a lot of speaker brands that can make this claim.
This year, EISA (Expert Imaging & Sound Association) has selected two separate KEF products for their speaker awards. The LSX is a Wireless Speaker System and following very nicely in the footsteps of its bigger brother, the LS50 Wireless. The LS50 and LS50 wireless both are former recipients of EISA Awards and many others as well.
The R11 loudspeaker traces its origins from KEF's legendary Reference line of speaker products. It is a tower type speaker with a very narrow footprint. As in all KEF Reference loudspeakers, the performance is just that, Reference Quality.
